Photo Upload with Filter for Voting
The heart of the event was an interactive voting experience, brought to life through our custom-developed photo upload web app. The voting web app allowed guests to participate in the voting process playfully and interactively, choosing their favorite mixes.
The goal was to crown the 'Best Mix' – from three cakes, one would emerge as the winning mix. Throughout the event, guests were encouraged to cast their votes by first scanning a QR code and then taking a selfie, overlaying it with a color filter matching one of the cakes.
Visual Real-time Display of Voting Results
The uploaded photos were then showcased on a stunning large screen in a tile view, reminiscent of the classic memory game. As each vote was cast, a tile flipped over to reveal the associated colored photo.
Simple QR Code Scan for Voting Participation
Participant entry had minimal barriers, requiring only a QR code scan to access the voting app. The real-time display of the voting results on the screen added excitement and engagement among voters. It was a thrilling race to the finish!
Conclusion
The integration of our specially developed photo upload app as a voting tool at Mezzo Mix's 50th anniversary event was a resounding success. The event demonstrates how digitization can enhance participant engagement at a traditional celebration.
